Just moved here to fish...
« on: September 04, 2017, 11:16:56 AM »
Hey everyone!

I just moved here a few days ago from Duluth, MAN where I had been slaying Walleye and Channel Catfish all summer... My sister lived in St Petersburg, and in sight of the incoming winter, I decided to relocate down here.

Where's all the good shore fishing at? I've tried Merry Pier, John's Pass, Anna Maria Pier, and Wade fishing off Emerson Point. So far I've only caught a few sail cats and 2 small snook. Haven't had much luck considering. Admittedly, I don't know much about ocean fishing. I'm a freshwater guy :/

Any tips or tricks, or locations and times I should try? I'd hate to have to go find a river and catch some cats... :P

Also... Wouldn't mind a fishing buddy who knows what they are doing... Just saying.
