This is not site where you  can just advertise your product or service. This site is run by donation from its members and sponsors. If you would like to advertise that is fantastic become one of our sponsors Please contact Mike CC . He will help you . You will have a great advertisement on the top of the site where it will read by many. Thanks

No problem sometimes I come across a little harsh.the best thing for you to do is talk with Mike C he is the skipper here
 He will be glad to help you decide whether to donate or become a sponsor. As a sponsor you get your add at the top of the site. As a donor you get access to secret spots So don't run off just send MikeC a msg. Tks

@rick

Did something change? I thought people COULD advertise their business in on this discussion board...isn't that why the board is called "Member Owned Businesses & Services"?

What else is a person to post here if not an ad for their business?

@shubbert1

Welcome to the madness shubbert1..... !@!

@rick .... Thanks for holding down the fort.. 9#3# ..... I don't mind if a member posts in here once about their business, as long as they don't SPAM it. The problem I was having is that a lot of business owners started treating the site like Craigslist..... ???  You are right, it is about fishing and fishing stuff. Thanks for looking out for TBFO!!

@shubbert1....Your cool unless you want to get a spot on the Supporters Link for way more exposure   ;)  I don't think you have to barter at all to learn here.

When do you fish?...weekdays/weekends ....... Do you wade, yak, boat or shore fish?

Thanks everyone for pointing me in the right direction.  First I want to do some pier fishing, I'm not sure what poles to use or reals but budget is always a concern.  Also what type of line should you use out here?  I hear that there is line you can use that fish cant see in salt water but is that the best approach? and whats the best bait or lures to use?  I also want to learn more about catching my own bait.  I don't have a boat, however I do have a jet ski and wanted to fish form my jet ski too..   I'm excited about this and as you can see I have a lot of questions and very eager to learn.  This is why I was asking about bartering because I don't want anyone to spend their time without somethnig in return as I know that time is money.

I also want to eventually first the FLATS off the shore or on a kayak but I want to know what i am doing first and then go down that road.

I have been and angler for years in upstate NY, I now what to do but Florida is salt water and I am lost and have not been able to fish for a long time because of it,  I want to learn so I can get back to what I use d to love doing all the time.

You could say fishing is fishing. Important difference is you have to wash anything that gets salt water on it. Just don't go out and buy big reals and rods and stay away from closed reals.
