Artificial Reefs in Tampa Bay
« on: February 06, 2014, 03:56:34 PM »
Hello folks, I’m with the EPC of Hillsborough County’s Artificial Reef Program and we’re in the process of assessing the fishing community’s overall knowledge and general interest in the artificial reefs located in Tampa Bay.  One of our goals here at the reef program is to provide added hard bottom structure and habitat in beautiful Tampa Bay that would, in turn, attract more fish for all of us to enjoy whether fishing or diving.  In our efforts to better serve the local fishing and diving community, we would love to hear from you and encourage you to check out the short survey (link included) which only takes about 3 minutes.  Thank you for your interest.

I usually run full-speed away whenever I get a request to fill out a ***short*** online survey...usually "short" turns out to be 50 questions!!!  However, I figure this is for a good cause, so I bit the bullet and decided to take the survey.

Just want to let y'all know that it took much less than the advertised 3 minutes.  It actually took about 30 seconds, and if you check the box indicating that you would like more information about the Artificial Reef Program, the survey automatically redirects you to the site.

Take the survey, and show our support...

The responses have been wonderful in our first week of the survey!  A BIG thank you to all who have participated so far, as this is valuable information that will be used in deciding the future management of your reefs.  We look forward to continue hearing from you, so I've provided the link for those who haven't participated in our survey yet.  Thanks again, Brett.
